The Implementation
Secretariat has so far produced three short movies titled
"Life Line", "Aasha Kiranalu" and "Privateekarana - O -
Mukha mukhi" in order to overcome negative perceptions about
the Public Enterprise Reform Program among all the Stake
Holders and also general Public. These films are shot
specially for the workers to explains the merits of
privatisation with live examples of local enterprises.
These films are regularly
showed to various stake holders during the workshops /
seminars, counselling sessions etc., to eliminate fears
arising out of the Reforms process.
A brief description of
these movies is as follows.
Life-line:
A short film introducing
Social Safety Net Programme being persued by the Government of
AP in order to provide a Human Face to the Reform Process.
Aasha Kiranalu:
A short film shot in the
locations of Allwyn Watches which was closed and Allwyn Auto
which was privatised to Mahindras showing progress made by the
enterprise after privatisation and the workers
perspectives.
Privateekarana - O - Mukha
mukhi:
The latest among the
series of short films providing information about the success
stories of Hanuman Junction Cooperative Sugar Mill and the
Adilabad Cooperative Spinning Mill. Provides documentary
evidence by capturing narrations of workers, Union leaders, Farmers
and the Management on benefits of Privatisation to all the
stake holders concerned.
